A multilingual portfolio and SEO system where everything is managed from a custom admin panel.
This site is a case study in its own right. It was moved from Next.js to Laravel and built to run on shared hosting.
The challenge
Shared hosting will not keep a Node process alive, so Inertia’s server-side rendering was not an option — and without SSR the SEO collapses. There is also no Redis server, and queue workers get killed.
The solution
Livewire was chosen: it renders on the server and needs no extra process. Work that would normally be queued moved to defer(), running after the response, and image conversions were configured to run synchronously. Languages and roles live in the database; there is no hardcoded language list anywhere in the code.
The outcome
The application sits outside the document root, .env is unreachable from the web, and the site is live in three languages.
